Courgette Crisps

This addictive snack uses up the glut of courgettes that sometimes occurs during the height of summer. Generously seasoned they make the perfect crunchy snack to serve alongside a nice cold drink in the sun. You can easily swap out the spices for any others that take your fancy. Try a spicy chili version or smokey barbecue for something a bit different.

 

Ingredients:

 6 courgettes (zucchini), thinly sliced.

1 tablespoon cumin.

1 teaspoon sumac.

1 teaspoon salt.

 

Method:

Place the sliced courgette into a large bowl.

Sprinkle over the seasoning.

Mix well.

Arrange on the Ezidri dehydrator trays.

Dehydrate on 70º for 6-8 hours.

Serve alongside your favourite refreshing drink or pop into lunch boxes for a healthy substitute for potato chips.
